After posting their first Big 12 victory of the season with a 72-57 win over Baylor Iowa State coach Fred Hoiberg says the Cyclones must now find a way to steal one on the road. They will get their next chance on Wednesday night with a visit to Oklahoma State.

Hoiberg says they had a ton of energy against Baylor after playing well against Kansas. He says he continues to stress the need for his players to play with the passion and energy they have played with and if they continue to do that, the wins will come.

Lack of depth has been an issue all season long and Hoiberg has adjusted his practice schedule because of it. Hoiberg says they will have short but intense practices that are focused. He says he can’t have a marathon practice as he has to keep the team fresh for the games.

Hoiberg says he it can be tough to find a way to keep his starters fresh. He says a lot of what they do in practice is mental as they work on the game plan and try to avoid things that would cause them to lose someone in practice.
