Iowa State coach Fred Hoiberg will get a chance to see how his Cyclones handle adversity this week. The Cyclones suffered their first lopsided loss of the season at Missouri on Saturday and will return to action at home on Wednesday night against Texas Tech.

Hoiberg says it was the first time all year that they have not been in a game, as they were down 24 points at halftime, and never had a chance to get back in the game. Hoiberg says they will now be able to see what they are made of.

The game will match teams with identical 1-4 records in the Big 12. Hoiberg says Texas Tech is coming off a win over Nebraska and they will have confidence, and his team will need to do a good job of preparing.
