The U.N.I. Panthers are on the road in Missouri Valley Conference action to take on Bradley. The Panthers are looking to snap a three game losing skid while the Braves have won three of their last four after starting the league race 0-11. Bradley’s Anthony Warren leads the league in scoring at just under 19 points per game.

Panther coach Ben Jacobson says Warren’s play has been at an extremly high level and the rest of the team has started to play good basketball as well. The Panthers have not won since senior forward Lucas O’Rear was lost for the season with an ankle injury.

Jacobson says they miss O’Rear, but at the same time, they have had plenty of opportunities to play better. U.N.I. is 9-6 in the Valley and 18-6 overall.

Drake is on the road to play Valley co-leader Missouri State. The Bulldogs lost a heartbreaker to the Bears in their first meeting in Des Moines.

Drake coach Mark Phelps says they have improved at both ends of the floor, and it will make for a good game. He says the Bears are especially tough to beat at home as he says they have good wing play and also inside.

Drake is 6-9 in the Valley and 11-15 overall.
