A one vehicle crash early Sunday morning in western Iowa’s Adair County claimed the life of a central Iowa woman.

Officials say Riki Lee Ogden, 24, of West Des Moines was driving a Jeep, headed west on Interstate 80, when she lost control of the vehicle two miles east of the Adair exit. The vehicle entered the median and rolled once before coming to rest on its wheels.

Ogden, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was thrown out of the vehicle’s sunroof and died at the scene. The accident happened around 5 a.m.
