A Le Mars girl who was bitten by dogs is being treated at an Omaha hospital. The Plymouth County Sheriff’s office reports 10-year-old Breanna Buenger was playing outside at a rural Akron home Wednesday afternoon when she was bitten by two 10-month-old Pitbull dogs.
Buenger was able to get away from the dogs and go into the house. Her mother called 9-1-1. The girl has head and neck injuries. An Omaha hospital is not releasing information about her condition. The sheriff’s office reported the girl and her mother were staying with the family that has the dogs.
No charges have been filed. The dogs are at a Le Mars veterinary clinic.
