One person is dead, three injured, in a weekend shooting in Davenport. Davenport police say a fight broke out late Saturday inside the Col Ballroom downtown and continued outside in the street and an adjacent parking lot. Cops think a Friday altercation between two groups started things.
Nineteen-year-old Michael Williams of Davenport died at a hospital soon after being shot in the upper torso. Three other shooting victims were taken to hospitals in private vehicles. They are 24-year-old Vincent Howard and 18-year-old Raheem Houston, both of Davenport, and 19-year-old Aaron Ellis, of Rock Island, Illinois.
Police say they have several suspects. No arrests have been announced.
