The Iowa State Patrol has released the name of a driver killed Thursday in a Scott County car crash. It happened a little before 3 in the afternoon on westbound Interstate 80 near Walcott.

Troopers say a 2003 Land Rover driven by 43-year-old Kersten Marie Hostetter of Denver, Colorado, was eastbound when it crossed the median, rolled over and came to rest in the westbound lanes.

Hostetter was taken by ambulance to a Davenport hospital, where she was pronounced dead. A passenger, 42-year-old Thomas M. Muenzberg of Denver, was injured. He was flown by helicopter to a Davenport hospital. The cause of the wreck is under investigation.
