A Mason City woman received a suspended sentence after pleading guilty to first-degree theft for stealing more than $80,000 from her employer. Thirty-five-year-old Kiki Jutting has been sentenced by Cerro Gordo County District Court Judge James Drew to a 10-year suspended sentence, five years probation and 200 hours of community service.
Jutting was accused of stealing the money from Central Park Dentistry in Mason City. Prior to sentencing, she agreed to restitution in the amount she stole. She liquidated a retirement account worth $25,800 which will be applied toward restitution, while the dental practice’s insurance carrier reimbursed the firm for $65,000.
