A western Iowa man was arrested Wednesday in connection with the death of his infant son this summer. Thirty-five-year-old Jason Curtis of Glenwood is charged with three felonies; child endangerment, neglect of a dependent person and willful injury.

His arrest follows a three month long investigation by Glenwood police and the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation. A statement from the Iowa Department of Public Safety indicates Curtis is alleged to have caused the death of Jackson Curtis, his 5 month old son. The statement says the boy died in an “incident” in Glenwood on July 14.

No other details about the case were released.
