An eastern Iowa man is headed to prison after a teenager’s drug death. A United States District Court judge has sentenced 21-year-old Johnathen Michael Anderson of Pleasant Valley to five years behind bars.

Anderson pleaded guilty to distribution of methadone resulting in death. Last month, a co-defendant, Colby Jay Josvanger, was also sentenced. He got 20 years. In February of 2009, 18-year-old Zachary Sullivan was found dead in a Pleasant Valley home.

Josvanger and Anderson were charged after a police investigation.
