U.N.I. coach Mark Farley says the Panthers are getting healthier but won’t say if senior quarterback Terrell Rennie will play in Saturday’s game against Southern Utah. Rennie was one of several starters to sit out last week’s victory over Youngstown State.

Farley says he hopes they hit the bottom of the injury impact last week as they have several injured players back who are healing. He says they have others who they are waiting on to see if they will play this weekend.

Southern Utah is 5-4 and Farley expects the Thunderbirds to provide a challenge. He says they have an outstanding quarterback who came in and threw for a lot of yards. Farley says Southern Utah has made big strides under coach Ed Lamm, as he is in his 4th season and has the players he has recruited to his system.

U.N.I. is 7-2 overall.
