Oops! An Illinois man who reportedly doesn’t trust banks has mistakenly given away his life savings. The 80-year-old man, whose name isn’t being released, took a suit and other clothing items to a Goodwill store for donation.

It wasn’t until some time later that the man, who is caring for his cancer-stricken wife, realized he had $13,000 cash inside the suit. Goodwill officials believe the suit was either purchased or made its way to the Goodwill regional warehouse in Iowa City. Goodwill employees and the man’s family members have searched for the bundle of cash didn’t find it.

But they’re still looking. The suit is described as a gray coat and pants. Anyone who discovers they have purchased the suit can take it to any Goodwill store or Goodwill’s office in Iowa City. A $1,000 reward is being offered for return of the suit and the wad of cash in its pocket.
