Two men were arrested early this morning after gun shots were fired outside a restaurant in Urbandale. Police were called to a Perkin’s restaurant at 8601 Hickman Road just before 2 a.m. on the report of gun fire. Officers said 19-year-old Adrian Cervantes, who was reportedly drunk, was looking for his friend’s car but ended up in the wrong vehicle and fell asleep.

Twenty-one-year-old Micah Foster and a friend came out of the restaurant later and discovered Cervantes in the back seat of Foster’s car. Investigators said the two couldn’t wake the teen and a fight ensued when Foster pulled Cervantes out of his vehicle. Foster then pulled a revolver from his glove box and fired four shots into the air.

Foster has been charged with intimidation with a dangerous weapon, carrying a concealed weapon and public intoxication. Cervantes was also charged with public intoxication.
