A large magazine publishing firm based in central Iowa is acquiring another big title. Meredith Corporation is buying FamilyFun magazine from Disney Publishing Worldwide.
The purchase price wasn’t released. FamilyFun focuses on cooking, crafts, parties and travel. With a circulation over two-million, it targets moms with kids between three and 12.
The Des Moines-based Meredith is known for several other popular magazines, including Ladies’ Home Journal, Successful Farming and Better Homes and Gardens.
