The senior guard rebounded a missed free throw attempt by teammate Tatum Klein and sank two free throws with 11 seconds remaining as the second ranked Women of Troy edged arch rival Iowa City High 55-52 in a class 4A quarterfinal.
Iowa City High had a chance to tie the game late but Haley Lorenzen misfired on a game tying free throw attempt with 17 seconds remaining. Kiera Washpun led City High with 12 points as they close out the season with a record of 17-7.
Klein led West with 18 points.
