A Charles City man is dead following a fiery crash in Chickasaw County. The Iowa State Patrol says 77- year-old Duane Alton Vick of Charles City was traveling eastbound on 120th Street, just south west of Protivin in Chickasaw County when his 2003 Dodge Minivan apparently went into the ditch and burst into flames.
When authorities arrived on the scene, Vick was still inside the completely engulfed vehicle. No other details about the accident have released.
