An investigation into pharmacy burglaries in Davenport is bringing multiple arrests. Davenport police have charged 14 people, ranging in age from 20 to 59, in connection with two burglaries last September at a central city pharmacy, and they say there may be more arrests.

Davenport and Scott County detectives teamed up on the investigation. It started with the death last October of Jonathan Bahnsen of Blue Grass. Police say he died of an overdose of oxycodone that had been taken during one of the burglaries.

They say 23-year-old Trevor Carter, one of the 14 now charged, delivered the drug to Bahnsen. Police say interviews provided most of the names of those charged. Others were implicated in cell phone text records.
