Urbandale police say they are waiting for more tests before taking any action in the death of a 13-month-old baby at a home daycare.

Police say an autopsy by the Polk County Medical Examiner’s office did not find any evidence of physical harm to the body of Emma Bright, and they are keeping the case open pending the results of a toxicology report.

Police were called to the daycare operated by Kimberly Kimmer last Friday (May 25th) just after 4 p.m on the report that Bright was not breathing. Officers who arrived on the scene found that Bright was dead.

Police say it could take a few weeks before the toxicology results are completed.
