Officials in northwest Iowa’s Lyon County are asking for the public’s help as they search for a man who tried to kidnap a woman yesterday. Authorities are investigating the attempted abduction of a 61-year-old woman outside of her home in Little Rock.
The attempted abduction took place shortly after noon Wednesday in front of the woman’s home. The suspect is described as a white male, 60 to 65 years of age, with long hair and a beard. His hair and beard were described as being brown with gray in them both.
He is approximately 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighs approximately 250 pounds. The subject was driving a smaller, older, dark-colored — possibly black — car with a white top. Citizens are urged to contact the Lyon County sheriff if they have any information which may assist in the investigation.
