The United States Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Iowa has set up a way for victims of Cedar Falls investment embezzler Russell Wasendorf to find out information on the case.
The attorney’s office has set up a dedicated telephone line at 319- 297-3711, and a page on its website to provide case updates and other information for victims of Wasendorf. The former C.E.O. of Peregrine Financial admitted in a plea deal to several charges in connection with the embezzlement of some $200-million from clients.
The attorney’s office says the goal of the website and phone line is to provide accurate information about the case and the rights of victims. You can find the information on the webpage of the U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Iowa. Wassendorf is being held while he awaits sentencing.
