Authorities have released more information about a northeast Iowa shooting incident that prompted the lock-down of three schools.

The Winneshiek County Sheriff’s Department has released the list of charges filed against a Cresco man, currently being held in the Winneshiek County Jail. Authorities searched for 23-year-old Dan Wildman Tuesday in connection to an investigation of shots fired at a Calmar residence.

Wildman was located in an out building south of Ossian, then he fled on an ATV before being apprehended in a corn field near Castalia.

Sheriff’s officials say Wildman is being held on three arrest warrants from Howard County: probation violation without bond, delivery of a controlled substance and posession of a firearm as a felon. Authorities say Tuesday’s incident remains under investigation and additional charges are pending.
