The Iowa Hawkeyes are on the road in the Big Ten on Saturday to take on Northwestern. The Wildcats have won five out of the last seven in the series and they have been a tough matchup for the Iowa defense. One of the threats this season is running back Venric Mark, who has rushed for more than 900 yards and is also a threat in the return game.

Iowa coach Kirk Ferentz says Mark has been a spark for the team going back to his freshman year and you have to know where he is on the field so you can contain him.

Ferentz who says the Hawks will need to account for Northwestern quarterback Kain Colter, who also sees time at receiver. He says you are not quite sure of where he will be and that adds to the preparation so you can defend a lot of different things.
