Two men who escaped from a Georgia jail last week were captured Tuesday afternoon in Fort Dodge. Fort Dodge Police, Webster County Sheriff’s Deputies and the U.S. Marshals Service apprehended 24-year-old Matthew S. Findley and 26-year-old Jeffery R. Webb of Swainsboro,Georiga at a Fort Dodge residence.

Information was gathered by authorities stating the two were in the Fort Dodge area. Findley was originally charged with Murder and Webb for Burglary. They were awaiting court proceedings at the time of their escape from jail. Both men will face extradition hearings in Webster County.

Findley and Webb were among six people who escaped from the Emanuel County Jail in Swainsboro on November 11th after a plumber at the jail left the door unlocked. The other four prisoners were captured within a few days.
