A 37-year-old Clinton man has been sentenced to three decades in a federal prison on drug charges.

Kendall D. Robinson was accused of being part of a drug ring that dealt crack in the Clinton area for nearly three years. He was found guilty this summer and the federal judge who handed down his sentence this week said Robinson’s history of violence and drug offenses warranted the 30-year sentence.

In other drug-related cases, 21-year-old Travis Lee Meier of Davenport this week was sentenced to 10 years in a federal prison for making and selling meth. Two other Davenport men were accused of going to Chicago to get crack that they sold in Davenport. Joshua William Rankin was sentenced to 15 years in prison and Devon Blu Raven Braet was sentenced to more than eight years. Both men are 23 years old.
