A Davenport man is charged in connection with a house fire that left three people homeless. Twenty-six year old Ryan Lancey Eckstein faces charges of second-degree arson and simple domestic assault. That’s according to the Quad-City Times.

District Fire Chief Rick Flynn says Eckstein is accused of setting a fire early Tuesday in a north Davenport home. It did considerable damage and left an adult and two children homeless. It’s not known if the three, who are receiving help from the Red Cross, were home at the time. Eckstein is in the Scott County Jail.
