A Davenport woman is dead after being hit by a train. It happened a little after 10 Friday night east of Dewitt in Clinton County. The victim was identified as 21-year-old Kristina Marie Johnson.
She had been struck by a westbound Union Pacific train and died at the scene. The Iowa State Medical Examiner will conduct an autopsy.
