More than 70 cars are expected at the Knoxville Raceway on Saturday night as the World of Outlaws return. It will be their final stop at the track before the Knoxville Nationals in August. Promoter Brian Stickel says the biggest names in sprint car racing will be there.

Stickel says for many of the drivers it will be their final chance to test the half-mile dirt oval before the Knoxville Nationals and compete against the “Big Guns” so he says they are anxious to be there.

Stickel says it will be a full night of action wit close to 50 410 cars and close to 25 360’s. The program starts with hot laps at 6:45 and they hope to be done with the features at about 10:30.

Stickel encourages fans to make a day of it and stop by the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame and Museum which is located on Turn two. The museum is open at 8 o’clock and has a lot of videos and displays.

A Marco Andretti exhibit is slated to open on July 15th.
