The biggest day of registration deadlines for the Iowa Games is approaching. Cory Kennedy is a spokesman for the summer games which will be held over three weekends in July. Monday is the early deadline for 47 events, including track and field, and Kennedy says you will need to specify which events you are competing in.

July 1st is the final registration day for five-on-five youth basketball as well as adult men’s basketball. He says they need your full roster when you register.

Kennedy expects a strong turnout for the men’s division, with the games all played in Ames. He expects 20 plus teams to play.

Kennedy says adult basketball always draws a strong field in part because there are so few tournament opportunities for that age bracket.

The main weekend of competition is July 18th through the 21st.
