The body of a young man who went missing in the Cedar River has been recovered. Black Hawk County Sheriff’s deputies say 19-year-old Andre Tims was found Wednesday morning about 3 miles downstream from where he went missing Sunday evening.
The Waterloo man had been tubing with several people when authorities say his tube became caught in a current and flipped over near Black Hawk Park. Tims, who was unable to swim, was thrown out of the tube.
