Northern Iowa’s Kossuth County will be featured on popular national television show next week. As part of her appearance on the TLC show, “Who Do You Think You Are?”, comedienne Chelsea Handler visited the Camp Algona POW museum to learn more about her grandfather, a prisoner at the camp during World War Two.
Museum caretaker Jerry Yocum said it was a pleasure to work with Chelsea and they immediately accepted the chance to be on show when producers called, even with little information about their celebrity guest.
The segment will be part of a full episode featuring Handler learning more about her family. It will air Tuesday night at 8 o’clock on TLC.
