A Waterloo woman is being held in connection with a fatal weekend stabbing. Officers responded to a report of a stabbing just after 4:00 A.M. Sunday. Twenty-nine-year-old John Bass was taken to a local hospital with a stab wound to the upper chest. He later died from his injuries at the hospital.

Police this morning arrested 39-year-old Keisha Magee of Waterloo for violating her parole. Investigators say that Magee is considered a “person of interest” in the case, but they have not yet filed any charges. Magee is being held in the Black Hawk County Jail.
