University of Iowa officials say they’ll take “appropriate action” after a teaching assistant, by accident, sent nude photos of herself to students in her class. News of the incident on Tuesday spread quickly via Twitter and the university has confirmed that “a teaching assistant sent an email with inappropriate content to her students.” The T-A reportedly intended to attach answers for a homework assignment, but instead sent the nude photos.

U-I spokesperson Tom Moore said in a statement that “the individual who sent the messages has stated that it was an accident” and “she regrets her actions.” Moore says “appropriate actions” will be taken under the U-I’s policies and procedures.

The website TotalFratMove.com claims the teaching assistant sent the email to 80 students in a math class and the attached images appear to be from a video chat that are sexual in nature. TotalFratMove.com claims to be the “number one college comedy website.”

HERE IS THE STATEMENT FROM UI SPOKESPERSON TOM MOORE:

“University officials are aware of this matter and are looking into it. We can confirm that a teaching assistant sent an email with inappropriate content to her students. The individual who sent the messages has stated that it was an accident. She regrets her actions. We will ask those who received the message to delete it and not to share the files with anyone else. This incident was inappropriate, and the university will look into it and take appropriate actions under our policies and procedures.”
