A California man will serve over nine years in prison for his part in an Iowa marijuana distribution ring. Thirty-four-year-old David Morago of Redwood, California was found to have packaged more than 200 pounds of marijuana in northern California. He then helped others conceal the packages in vehicles so they could be brought to Davenport to be sold.

Morago was sentenced to 110 months in jail. One of the people who helped Morago, former Davenport resident John Masterson, was sentenced to two years in prison for conspiracy to deliver marijauna. The third person, Autumn Skelton of Port Byron, Illinois, is awaiting sentencing after pleading guilty to the same charge.
