A 36-year-old Lake View man died this weekend while working in a manure tank. Buena Vista County Sheriff Gary Launderville says emergency crews were called just after 9 p.m. Saturday for a man who had passed out inside the tank.
Firefighters wearing air packs were able to pull Jeremy Schulte from the tank, but he was pronounced dead at the scene. The state medical examiner is conducting an autopsy on Schulte’s body.
