Second ranked Grand View will be at home on Saturday to play Tabor of Kansas in the quarterfinal round of the NAIA playoffs. This game will match a Viking run defense which yields only 77 yards per game against a Tabor option attack that generated 330 yards per game on the ground.

Grand View coach Mike Woodley who says it is all about being assignment sound. “You have to spend a lot of time making sure your responsibilities on defense are covered, and you know who has the dive, who has the quarterback and who has the pitch…so we’ve got our hands full with their offense.”

Woodley says they are different from other option attacks as they have a good fullback who is the all-time leading rusher at the school and they will give him the ball 30 times per game.

Grand View is 11-0.
