Eighteen people are facing charges, with more arrests possible, following a series of drug-related investigations in Storm Lake.

Mark Prosser, Public Safety Director for Storm Lake Police, says the 18 people were arrested between Friday and Sunday.  “Charges range from the delivery of cocaine and methamphetamine to conspiracy to manufacture meth, delivery of mushrooms, marijuana…as well as possession with intent to deliver those types of illegal drugs,” Prosser said.

The investigations spanned a nine month period and also involved heroin and prescription pills. “Over the last few years, we’ve seen a wider variety of drugs coming from large urban centers from around the country coming into our region and into our community,” Prosser said.

As part of the enforcement operation, Storm Lake Police executed a search warrant at a home Friday morning and seized over two pounds of marijuana packaged for sale. The pot carries a street value of $12,500. Also seized at the residence was cash, drug paraphernalia and a vehicle allegedly used in the transportation of the illegal drugs.

Here are the individuals who were arrested:
Albernard Clinton Jr., age 20 of Storm Lake, who was wanted on a warrant charging him with Possession of Marijuana .
Josue Garcia, age 21 of Storm Lake is charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Raul Martinez-Lozano, age 35 of Storm Lake is charged with 3 counts of Delivery of Cocaine and Ongoing Criminal Conduct.
Macdonald Hoskins, age 31 of Storm Lake charged with Possession of Heroin 3rd Offense, Possession of Methadone and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Edward Fowler, age 31 of Storm Lake charged with Possession of Marijuana 3rd Offense.
Bouasone Sihachak, age 35 of Storm Lake charged with Probation Violation reference Possession of Marijuana 2nd Offense.
Casey Beckmen, age 35 of Odebolt, IA charged with Conspiracy to Manufacture Methamphetamine and Possession of Pseudoephedrine.
Adam Taylor, age 26 of Schaller, IA charged with Conspiracy to Deliver Psilocybin Mushrooms.
Amber Apolito, age 23 of Alta, IA charged with Delivery of Psilocybin Mushrooms.
Stephen Campbell, age 40 of Odebolt, IA charged with Conspiracy to Deliver Methamphetamine.
