Iowa State will try to snap a three game losing skid on today when they host 22nd ranked Kansas State. The 16th ranked Cyclones are 3-3 in the Big 12 and have not played since a loss at Texas last weekend. “We’re in the toughest part of our schedule right now. Kansas State is rolling…we go back to Kansas, you’ve got to fight through it, it’s a tough stretch.   I believe in our guys, I know we’ll come back,” ISU coach Fred Hoiberg said.

At 4-1 in the league race and 14-4 overall the Wildcats are considered a surprise. Hoiberg says they play tough defense and that goes along with a tough post player and explosive guards.

It’s a 12-45 tip off in Hilton Coliseum.
