A Boone man has been charged with multiple felonies following the investigation of a bomb threat to the Boone School District last Thursday. The school searched all its buildings, nothing was found and none of the facilities were evacuated.

Commander John Sloter says they gained information on the threat and obtained search warrants for a residence in Boone and a second location in rural Boone County near Madrid. There were no reports of any bomb making materials being found at the two locations.

Police arrested 18-year-old Eduard Nikolas Lester on felony charges of terrorism, manufacturing marijuana and failure to have a drug tax stamp. He was also charged with the serious misdemeanor of unlawful possession of prescription pills. Sloter says Lester was taken to the Boone County Jail.
