Fourth ranked West Fork shot 60 percent for the game a pulled away by scoring 25 points in the fourth quarter in a 71-54 win over West Marshall in a class 2A quarterfinal round game at the boys’ state basketball tournament.

Six-five senior Sam Amsbaugh finished with a game-high 26 points, including 10 of 14 from the field. The Warhawks made 12 of 16 shots in the second half  on the way  to their 24th win of the season.

Reggie Gradwell led West Marshall with 21 points but the Trojans had no answer for Amsbaugh at the defensive end.
West Marshall coach Paul deNeui who says it was a great season for the Trojans, who finish with a record of 20-5.

Third ranked Treynor used a 14-0 fourth quarter run to take control in a 61-53 victory over North Cedar. Trey Robinson scored 15 of his game high 19 points in the second half for the Cardinals. Treynor held North Cedar scoreless for a seven minute stretch of the fourth quarter.

North Cedar ends the season with a record of 21-5.
