A southeast Iowa woman was killed last night when her car collided with a semi near Oskaloosa in Mahaska County. According to a state patrol crash report, a 2005 Chevy Impala driven by 51-year-old Robin Vos of Oskaloosa failed to yield at Highway 163 while coming off a private drive.

Vos was struck by a 2003 Peterbuilt semi driven by 27-year-old Bradley Nelson of Allison. Vos was transported to Mahaska Health Partnership and pronounced dead. The crash report indicates that Vos was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident. The Iowa State Patrol and Mahaska County Sheriff’s Office continue to investigate the accident.
