A Cedar Rapids man is charged with robbing several banks in the eastern Iowa city. An indictment filed in U.S. District Court charges 29-year-old Javon Dockery with four counts of bank robber and one count of possession of a firearm in the furtherance of a crime of violence.

The indictment says Dockery robbed banks in Cedar Rapids on April 30th, May 16th and 29th, and June 26th. Dockery had previously been charged with robbing a bank on July 8th. Dockery is being held without bond and will next appear in court on September 22nd.
