A life was lost in a crash last night in southwest Iowa’s Harrison County. The Highway Patrol says a 2003 Chevy Tahoe driven by 19-year-old Connor James Hemer, of Odebolt, crossed the center line on Highway 30 eastbound at around 8:10 p.m., and collided with a westbound car driven by 45-year old Jody Lynn Hustak, of Logan.
Hustak, who was wearing her seat belt, died at the scene. Hemer was flown by helicopter to trauma center in Omaha. A report on his condition was not available early Friday morning.
