Police are investigating the discovery of a body this morning in the northern Iowa town of Estherville.
Estherville Police Captain Brent Shatto says shortly after 5 a.m., a woman was driving through an alley in the Central Business District and located a deceased male subject. She called 911 and responding officers began an investigation into the death of the man.
At this time, no foul play is suspected. The body has been transported to the State Medical Examiner’s office for an autopsy. The subject has been identified, however his name is being withheld pending notification of family.
