One of the two men who escaped from the county jail in Fort Dodge last week was caught right away, while the other was apprehended on Saturday. Forty-three-year-old Jason Sullivan was staying at a residence when a tip lead authorities to his whereabouts.

Fort Dodge police said Sullivan was found in an upstairs bedroom when he surrendered to police. He is scheduled to make a court appearance today. Thirty-seven-year-old Sarah Nicholle Ritter of Fort Dodge is charged with aiding and abetting escape from custody in addition to several aggravated misdemeanor charges for her alleged role with the jail break. Sullivan and another inmate, 32-year-old Geoge Johnson, escaped from the Webster County Jail on Thursday night. The two men were able to escape by breaking through a vent and using sheets tied together to jump into an alleyway.

Johnson was injured while trying to escape and was taken to Unity Point Trinity Regional Medical Center in Fort Dodge for treatment.
