A Boone man was killed Monday morning in a two-car accident on Highway 30 near Grand Junction in Greene County. The Iowa State Patrol identified the victim as 27-year-old Daniel Reetz. Reportedly, a westbound 2001 Chevrolet Impala driven by Reetz crossed the center line on a bridge east of Grand Junction when it collided with an eastbound 2007 Cadillac Escalade driven by Lombardo Ramos of Oskaloosa.
It was reported that Reetz was operating the car in a wreckless manner. Reetz was pronounced dead at the accident scene. Ramos and a female passenger were transported to a hospital in Jefferson for treatment of their injuries.
