The UNI Panthers have this week off before returning to action with a game at Hawaii on September 13th. The Panthers are coming off a 31-23 loss at Iowa and coach Mark Farley says his team came out of the game healthy. “I’m comfortable coming out of that football game that our front 7 held up the way they did,” Farley says.

Farley says they will use the off week to fine tune things on both sides of the ball. He says he has a better handle on the personnel after the first game and they will play to their strengths as they work out the new game plans.

Farley says he was impressed with the way his team approached the game against Iowa. “In that atmosphere we had to take the role of the aggressor, we weren’t going there just to show up, and I think that showed,” according to Farley.

Farley says he is not sure how he will prepare his team for next week’s kickoff which will be at 11 p.m. Iowa time. He says the schedule is late out in a draft from the time they get on the plan to when they get home and he says right now he is still on the game plan part of the schedule.
