Iowa State University Police are investigating a report of a body discovered by a roommate at an apartment complex in Ames last night.
The body is that of a female in an apartment at University Village north of the Iowa State University campus. When officers and medical personnel arrived, she was pronounced dead. The woman is a student attending Iowa State University.
The name of the victim is being withheld until family members are notified. Police do not expect foul play as their investigation continues.
