A northeast Iowa man will spend more than 16 years in prison for possessing child pornography. Twenty-one-year-old Jeremiah Romo of Aplington pled guilty to one count of possession of child pornography in May. He also admitted to being charged with second-degree sex abuse as a juvenile in 2008.

Romo was sentenced to 200 months in prison and must also register as a sex offender after serving his time in federal prison.
