A Mason City fast-food worker got a big surprise over the weekend after his bicycle was stolen outside his workplace last week. Nathan King came out of the Culver’s restaurant in Mason City on Thursday and found that his mountain bike, which he relied on to get to work for the last ten years, had been stolen.

Two days later, King came out of the restaurant and found a new silver Schwinn hybrid bike waiting for him, delivered by a person who didn’t want to be identified. King says the gift made him feel special and he wishes he could thank the person.

Besides biking to work, King is a very active person, having competed in several marathons, ridden in RAGBRAI, and is a member of the North Iowa All Stars Special Olympics basketball team.
