The UNI Panthers have a huge test on Saturday when they host top ranked North Dakota State. The Panthers are coming off a victory over previously unbeaten Illinois State. UNI coach Mark Farley says they need to consistently play as well as they did Saturday and that will be the focus.

The Panthers are 5-4 and will likely need to win out to have a chance of making the national playoffs. “Every game is important in November, every league game is important,” Farley says. He says every game has rewards and consequences to it.

Two of UNI’s touchdowns last week were on special teams and another was scored by the defense. Farley says they still need a better effort out of an offense that only generated 235 yards. He says they have to find a way for their offense to score points.

Farley says while many of the faces are different for North Dakota State the results have been the same as they are very effective in what they do.
